Gathering with a Professor
"We feel that as fresh graduates, we may feel anxious about our career path, future goals, and directions. The purpose of the activity is to provide our classmates a safe and relaxing platform to share their feelings, worries, and thoughts. We want to let them know they are not alone, we share a similar situation and we are here to support one another. One of the most important lessons taken from the Programme is the listening skills. Before this programme, when we listen to others’ concerns, we often jump into problem-solving immediately without showing too much empathy. From this programme, we learnt that when we are in distress, the power of empathy, active listening, and non-judgmental listening outweighs problem-solving."
